dearest, beautiful Chigger bug!
This Sunday is your big 40! I wish like anything I could fly up to Philly and
spend the whole weekend with you! This is for you though and it’s the very
least I can do. Where do I even begin? We have so many memories together. I
still remember when I met you as just a young girl and realizing that I met my
sister. As best friends do, I went off to California and had my fair share of
life while you were off in Carolina having yours. While we stayed in touch, of
course; I don’t think either of us planned on the super reconnection that
unfolded. Like, no wonder we’ve both been single for ages considering we text each other
“Good Morning” we check up throughout the day, vent, remind each other to eat
and drink water and take care of ourselves. The memes, tik-toks and Facebook
reels back and forth. The how many ever minute long voice notes we leave one
another. I’ve told you before crying about it but God totally sent you to me.
You were there every single day when my mom was in and out of the hospital and
when she died. When I thanked you, you said, "I should be there now hugging you and making you dinner! I’ve done very little!” You did everything. You showed me what having a true friendship and
sister was. Meaghan, EVERYONE in this world should know who you are and the
heart you have. You advocate for animals, and people, you’re so beautifully outspoken,
you’re so gorgeous! You’re my favoritest Leo ever. I’m so proud
of you for going back to school and doing your vet tech career. You have NO
IDEA how much of an inspiration you are to me, dude. “Birds of a feather flock
together” I fucking hope so! Who wouldn’t be proud to be associated with you?!
You’re my platonic soulmate, my “ride or die” You’re my best friend in this
whole world and the best Auntie in the whole world to Kevie. He loves you so
much! I knew as a little girl I was making the best choice in the world. I LOVE
YOU!

It’s Steph and you’re so rad for being there for Meg like you are. She’s told
me about the little random coffees you take her; the places you guys go
together. She also told me about you suggesting things for my Kevin when you
both go out together. Thank you! Thank you for brightening her days because that
brightens mine. I want her to smile and be as happy as she can be. Her
happiness means the world to me. You’re a good dude. If you guys go out
together on her birthday, please spoil her!
